Talia
Lyons is an orphan - her parents were brutally murdered while she watched when
she was a child.
Seeking
revenge, Talia works to control her powers while at the McDonough School for
the Talented.
Okay so
this was not what I was expecting at all and seeing as this book has a high
rating I was disappointed.
I struggled to concentrate on what was happening
because I couldn't connect with the storyline or the characters and I found
parts of the writing disjointed (lots of sentences beginning with 'I').
I DNF'd
this after 26% because I honestly didn't care what happened next and I didn't
want to waste my time reading something I'm not enjoying.
