DNF at 25%.

Biddy Leigh is an under-cook at Mawton Hall. 

Chaos erupts when the young new bride of the elderly master arrives and not long after Biddy is forced, against her will, to leave her intended behind in order to travel to Italy with her new mistress.

I'm a fan of historical fiction but I couldn't connect to the storyline or the characters. 

It didn't grip me at all and I wasn't that bothered about finding out what happened so I stopped reading after 25%.

Unfortunately this wasn't for me.
