Regan
Flay is one of the most popular girls at her school. On the outside she has the
perfect life but really Regan is plagued by panic attacks due to the
overwhelming pressure her politician mother puts on her.
Regan's
life is turned upside down when papers with every mean text and email Regan
wrote are posted on the lockers at school. No one wants anything to do with
Regan, even her so-called best friends but Nolan, who is unpopular and her old
best friend's brother, suddenly seems to be wherever Regan is and usually with
a camera in his hand.
As
Regan's feelings for Nolan grow can she cope with being a social outcast?
Life Unaware
was a good read.
I found
Regan likeable and relatable. I enjoyed reading as she grew as a person.
Nolan
was also a character that I liked - he was quite sweet at times.
The plot
and pacing were good and I found the writing style easy to follow.
Bullying
is an all too common problem and I liked how we saw it from the bully's point
of view and the reason behind why Regan did it - to stay in everyone's good
books.
I
thought the bathroom stall idea at the end of the book was brilliant - people
are always so negative and rude to/about each other it would be awesome if we
could all just see the good in people.
The
romance wasn't over the top and I liked when Regan and Nolan interacted
together.
Overall
this was an enjoyable read that I would recommend.
